Cover crops have many benefits for farmers, but they also can be difficult for growers to effectively manage.  Students at the University of Kentucky are a part of a multidisciplinary class studying how cover crops can fit into diverse agricultural systems across the United States.  As part of a class exercise, the students developed, planted and harvested their own crop mixture which included some surprising discoveries.
