Lynn Stidham, chairperson of the Kentucky 4-H Foundation, has announced the selection of Keith L. Rogers as the new executive director of the foundation.

Rogers previously served as the executive director of the Governor’s Office of Agricultural Policy and chief executive officer of the Kentucky Agricultural Development Board and Kentucky Agricultural Finance Corporation. He is a lifelong supporter of the 4-H program, serving as State 4-H President in 1977-78 and State 4-H Leaders Council President in 1989-90.

“We are excited to have Keith as our new executive director. His leadership and record of achievement will enable us to build on the foundation’s support of the Kentucky 4-H program,” Stidham said. “His knowledge of the 4-H program and Kentucky will benefit the over 200,000 youth involved in Kentucky 4-H.”

“It is an honor and privilege to be able to give back to an organization that has meant so much to me over the years,” Rogers said. “4-H was the key element in my development as a youth, leader and person. The lessons I learned in 4-H have carried me throughout my life and career.”

Rogers and his wife Holly live near Glendale in Hardin County.

The Kentucky 4-H Foundation is a private non-profit partner of the Cooperative Extension Service – 4H Youth Development and University of Kentucky College of Agriculture.
